Introduce:Tatsuhiko Yokoo (1928-2015) was a painter who lived and worked between Japan and Germany. In the late 1960s, he created fantasy paintings based on myths and the Bible, which were recognized by celebrities such as Tatsuhiko Shibusawa and Toshihiro Tanemura.In the latter half of the 1960s, he created fantasy paintings based on myths and the Bible, and was recognized by celebrities such as Tatsuhiko Shibusawa and Suehiro Tanemura.After 1980, influenced by the ideas of Zen and Rudolf Steiner, he began to abstractly express the images that came to him through meditation using violent splashes of paint and dynamic lines.In his later years, he devoted himself to production and workshops based in his atelier in Saitama Prefecture. This exhibition introduces the full picture of his activities with about 90 works.
